Major attractions such as Beamish Open Air Museum and the Roman monuments in Northumberland are within easy reach.

Those looking for shopping and city scapes, the Metrocentre at Gateshead and Durham City are both 25 minutes away and Newcastle upon Tyne is 35 mins.
