Location
Grey's Well's location offers the opportunity of wonderful walking over public foot paths in rolling countryside and is six miles from Hamsterley Forest.
DIRECTIONS
From the War Memorial in Tow Law on the A68 take the B6297 road to Wolsingham (called Wolsingham Road ).
Grey's Well is one mile from the War Memorial on the left hand side. The road drops down out of Tow Law and passes water treatment works on the left. It then raises and levels with woodland and open fields on the left hand side before dropping down again. Progress slowly down this incline as our entrance is approx. 50m from the top of the hill on the left hand side.
There is a small sign for Grey's Well low down in the stone wall at the entrance. The farm house is two fields in from the main road along a farm track.
You will have missed our entrance if you drop down into the bottom of the valley and there are two houses on the right hand side. The next property on the left is New Row Farm Nurseries.
